The use of DNA markers in apple breeding of scab resistance

Abstract

Results of PCR-analysis of apple hybrid seedlings for the Rvi6 scab resistance gene were revealed. The correlation frequency of inheritance of allele states of Rvi6 gene was detected. The hybrid seedlings with homozygous dominant state Rvi6 gene ( Rvi6Rvi6 ) in genome were identified.
