THE INFLUENCE OF DIFFERENT COLCHICINE CONCENTRATIONS ON ASTER ANNUAL (CALLISTEPHUS CHINENSIS (L.) NEES) MORPHOLOGICAL PARAMETERS VARIATION
Abstract
The aim of our experimental work was to define the lethal and sub-lethal concentrations of colchicine solution for aster annual. In the process of research, the effect of plant treatments with different concentrations of aqueous colchicine solution on their biometric parameters was studied. Lethal concentration (0.05%) and concentration (0.02%), causing reliable changes in biometric parameters were established. The negative influence of high concentrations of colchicine on the seed productivity of asters plants was revealed.
