MODERN APPROACHES IN BREEDING OF APPLE-TREE
Abstract
Results of evaluation of genotypes of apple-tree on the main economic and valuable parameters are given. Breeding programs and techniques, and also molecular and genetic methods are used. At breeding material of apple-tree genes were identified: Vf of immunity to scab and Md- EXP7, Md-PG1, influencing quality of fruits. Elites: 12/1-20-24, 12/2-20-22, 12/2-20-24, 12/2-21-11, 12/1-20-41 (created in FSBSI NCRRIH&V together with VNIISPK), as the most valuable to breeding on a complex of parameters “quality of fruits + immunity” were revealed.
