THE DROUGHT RESISTANCE ON PEACH VARIETIES OF FOREIGN BREEDING IN CONDITIONS OF THE SOUTH COAST OF NIKITSKY BOTANICAL GARDEN

Abstract

This article presents the results of drought resistance study that had been carried out on 7 peach varieties of foreign breeding in conditions of the South Coast of Crimea. Experimental researches allowed us to identify the specifi c peculiarities of water regime parameters of peach from various ecogeographical groups and exotypes. Varieties with high adaptability and ability to carry out physiological processes under water stress are singled out: Springold, Khidistavsky Beliy, Pintu and Tszyu-Yus-Tszyuy.
