AGROECOLOGY OF THE XXI CENTURY

Abstract

The article discusses the main results of the All-Russian Conference “Agroecology of the XXI century”, dedicated to the memory of academicians Alexander Zhuchenko (3rd Zhuchenkov readings) and Nikolai Parakhin (1st Parakhin Readings), which took place on 27-28 June 2017 in Orel in N. Parahkin Orel State Agrarian University. There were considered: issues of agroecology and adaptive strategy of production of the main branches of agriculture; priority areas of genetics, biotechnology, plant breeding, seed production, plant protection, variety testing, variety change, micro-, meso- and macrozoning adaptive varieties; adaptive potential of cultivated plants and the practice of import substitution in the development of the production of basic food products in Russia.
