THE SELECTION OF PROMISING FORMS OF WALNUT JUGLANS REGIA L. ON ECONOMICALLY VALUABLE PARAMETRES OF NUT IN THE MAIN BOTANICAL GARDEN OF RAS
Abstract
The article describes the main phenological phases in walnut in the conditions of Moscow. The results of a forty-year selection of the best forms from the created population, characterized by high nut mass, kernel yield, fine shell, good taste are showed. Morphological peculiarities and nut quality of selected forms are presented.
